skinbetter science Alto Advanced Defense and Repair Serum is the gold-standard antioxidant serum in the skinbetter science lineup — a physician-developed morning serum containing 19 antioxidants in a single formula, delivering the most comprehensive free radical defense against environmental and internal oxidative stressors available in a clinical skincare product. In a 12-week clinical trial conducted by board-certified physicians in 39 patients, twice-daily use produced significant visible improvements in skin brightness, redness, and overall tone and texture.

The 19-antioxidant complex is assembled to neutralize the full spectrum of free radical types generated by UV radiation, infrared rays, blue light, pollution, and metabolic oxidative stress — each antioxidant selected for a different radical species or pathway. Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (lipid-soluble Vitamin C) is the cornerstone, providing potent brightening and collagen-supportive antioxidant activity in a stable, non-irritating form compatible with retinoid use. Vitamin E (Tocopherol and Tocopheryl Acetate), CoQ10 (Ubiquinone), Superoxide Dismutase, Ferulic Acid, Resveratrol, and 13 additional antioxidants complete the complex.
