PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Refresh Optive Gel Drops is a dual-lubricant, preservative-free gel-drop that combines the intensive relief of a high-viscosity CMC gel with the added lubrication of Glycerin — providing extra-strength hydration for moderate to severe dry eye in a single-use, sterile vial format. It strikes the balance between Refresh Plus (standard drops) and Celluvisc (thickest gel): delivering the prolonged contact time of a gel formula with slightly better initial clarity than the thickest gel products.

Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium (CMC) 1.0% provides the viscous, long-lasting gel film that coats the ocular surface for sustained relief between drops. Glycerin (0.9%) acts as an additional humectant lubricant — attracting and retaining moisture at the ocular surface, reducing osmotic stress (hyperosmolarity) that drives dry eye inflammation. This dual-active approach provides more comprehensive lubrication than single-active drops: CMC extends contact time while Glycerin provides additional osmotic protection and moisturization of the epithelial cells. Preservative-free single-use vials eliminate BAK-related ocular surface damage. Remove contact lenses before use. FSA & HSA eligible. For external use only.
