PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Viracid is a physician-formulated, professional-grade acute immune support supplement specifically designed for use at the first signs of illness or during periods of high immune demand — such as cold and flu season, travel, high stress, or exposure events. Unlike general immune maintenance supplements, Viracid is formulated with higher-dose, synergistic actives that work rapidly across multiple antiviral and immune-activation pathways simultaneously.

Vitamin A (as Beta Carotene and Retinyl Palmitate) at therapeutic doses maintains mucosal barrier integrity — the first line of defense against viral entry — and is essential for the differentiation and activity of T cells, B cells, and natural killer cells. Vitamin C at high dose supports the production and activity of interferon, phagocytes, and lymphocytes, and directly reduces the duration and severity of upper respiratory infections in clinical trials. Zinc (as TRAACS® Zinc Bisglycinate) inhibits viral RNA polymerase — the enzyme viruses use to replicate — and supports T-cell activity. Black Elderberry Extract (Sambucus Nigra) provides flavonoids clinically shown to reduce the duration of cold and flu symptoms by 2–4 days and inhibit viral attachment to cell surface receptors. Astragalus Root Extract is a well-studied immune adaptogen that stimulates the production and activity of white blood cells. Pantothenic Acid, L-Lysine, and other cofactors complete the immune-support matrix.
